Welcome to Rush City!

Rush City is a city of nearly 2,300 people located alongside I 35 W approximately 50 miles north of the Twin Cities. The population of Rush City has been growing steadily, along with the rest of Chisago County . The focus for the city will be to welcome growth, while at the same time respect and preserve the small town atmosphere that makes Rush City a unique place to live and work.

The Rush City Regional Airport is located less than one mile north of the business district, on Hwy. 361. Also called Gluth Field, the airport sits at an elevation of 925 feet. Its 4,400-foot runway is equipped to serve private and light commercial aircraft. Commercial and industrial sites are available including JOBZ acreage.
