Welcome to Princeton!
Princeton is "On the Growing Edge" of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area and part of the fastest growing area of Minnesota . A location less than an hour from downtown Minneapolis and an hour south of some of Minnesota's best lakes and recreation areas makes Princeton a convenient place to live and work.
Princeton is approximately 45 miles north of the Twin Cites on Hwy. 169 and 28 miles east of St. Cloud on Hwy. 95. Princeton 's modern industrial park has a looped water system, paved roads, fire and police protection within minutes, and a well-developed airport.
Princeton 's business district and two downtown shopping malls offer prime retail exposure. The community trade area of 10 miles has 18,000 shoppers in 6,200 households with an average family income of $33,000. Princeton completed the construction of a wastewater treatment plant in 1996, and in 1997 renovated its main street business district with improvements to the streets, utilities, and decorative lighting. Commercial and industrial sites are available including 24 acres of JOBZ land.
