Milaca is located at the intersection of U.S. Hwy. 169 and MN Hwy. 23 along the beautiful Rum River . Milaca has a vibrant business district and a thriving industrial park. The City owns industrial land that was recently designated for JOBZ benefits, and the city is ready to work with business to expand, or make Milaca your home.
Many events are hosted each year, including the World's Largest Cross Country running race, mountain bike races, Run in the Ruff, and the Business EXPO.

Milaca has a comprehensive approach to economic development, being actively involved in working with existing businesses to help them grow and expand and in attracting new business to the community. The Economic Development Commission meets with prospective businesses to provide information about Milaca; the city offers business incentives through a revolving loan fund, low cost land, tax increment financing and the potential for county property tax abatement.
